Middle Eagle Rafting (June)

Adventure Overview

Middle Eagle Rafting

This is an amazing section of whitewater for those looking for true adventure! The middle section of the Eagle River features the most continuous whitewater of our trips, and some the best.  The longest rapid on the entire Eagle River is the Edwards Mile, and it’s non-stop action! The Middle Eagle Class III(+) is a great intermediate run, and is suitable for first timers looking for a challenging, fun adventure, with tons of paddling.

This section relies on the spring snow-melt run-off, once the run-off slows down in early July check our Browns Canyon Rafting Trip on the Arkansas River, or the Shoshone Half Day Rafting for another great Class III section.

This trip departs from our office in Avon, CO, which is just a short drive from the Eagle River.  The office in Avon (near Beaver Creek), is about an hour drive from Glenwood Springs.  Although it is a bit longer drive, this section of river is well worth it!
