Browns Canyon National Monument features memorable rapids, spectacular scenery, remote canyons, and the towering Collegiate Peaks. Browns is a pool-drop river famous for its exciting rapids, so it is perfect for adventurous rafters! Families, groups, first-timers, and even experienced whitewater rafting enthusiasts will revel in the challenge and the beauty.  Our awesome guides will take you through the famous rapids such as Zoom Flume, Big Drop, and the Toilet Bowl.

In a 10-mile journey, you will have the opportunity to see protected wildlife, enjoy picturesque canyon walls, and experience Colorado’s finest whitewater.  Between the class III rapids, you will have time to relax and catch your breath as you get to know your guide, learn more about the majestic views all around you, and even have some swimming opportunities. Keep your eyes peeled for the protected wildlife!

This trip departs from our office near Buena Vista, CO, which is about a 2.5 hour drive from Glenwood Springs, up and over the beautiful Independence Pass.  Although it is a bit longer drive, this section of river is well worth it!
