Being a segway guide is both fun and rewarding, and we are looking for high energy individuals with great communication skills to show guests our amazing mountain town!
While segways are not hard to ride, they can be difficult to learn, so patience, encouragement, and good verbal instruction are key factors in creating an excellent experience for guests. Each tour consists of two hours on the trail and up to a 30 min training in the parking lot beforehand. Tours showcase some of the best viewpoints and spots in Glenwood Springs, and consist of both on- and off-road terrain. Providing guests with history and facts on the area is a plus!
Requirements of a guide include but are not limited to:
- Safety awareness
- Capacity to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Outgoing personality, friendly, and able to assist all types of guests
- Ability to work well under pressure and think quickly in emergencies
- Must have First Aid and CPR (complimentary training included with hire)
