A beautiful, pristine stretch of water that has unbelievable Rocky Mountain scenery and a perfect mix of calm water and whitewater. The float from Carbondale to Glenwood Springs offers incredible views of 13,000 ft. Mount Sopris, interesting geology, possible sightings of bald eagles and other wildlife, and fun class II/III whitewater.

The perfect adventure for families, beginner rafters, or anyone interested in the natural history of the valley! This Class III river section will  require some paddling —perfect for those wanting some excitement.

This is an ideal early season trip, during the Spring runoff, for those looking for some early season Whitewater.  For those looking for a similar trip after June, check our our Shoshone Half Day or Browns Canyon Half Day
